8 min · BeginnerSoft-focus flush
The heavily blushed look, made wearable. One cream colour on cheeks, lids and lips; fingers only. Forgiving on almost every skin tone if you pick a shade close to your natural flush.
Trends move fast on TikTok and Instagram, but most mornings don't. We took the looks people keep saving and rewrote each one as a routine with a real time and an honest skill level.
A look makes it onto this page only if it survives three questions. Can someone with ordinary lighting and a bathroom mirror do it? Does it still look good at 4 p.m.? And can it be done with products most people already own, or one inexpensive addition? Plenty of viral looks fail the second question — they're built for a ring light and a thirty-second video, not a commute and a full working day.
Every card below shows the time we measured after three or four practice runs, not the first fumbling try. Expect your first attempt to take roughly double.

10 min · BeginnerMade famous by Hailey Bieber's "glazed donut" posts and rooted in Korean glass-skin routines. The finish comes mostly from skincare, then a sheer balm on the high points.
12 min · IntermediateWarm browns everywhere: bronzer, a smudged brown liner, a caramel lip. Needs a little blending confidence around the eyes.
6 min · BeginnerA deep, blotted berry lip with a darker edge. Looks polished on almost no base, which makes it the fastest look on the page.
15 min · IntermediateA thin floating line in the crease or a short wing. Takes practice, but the "clean girl" base underneath is minimal so the total time stays reasonable.

Oily skin? Skip step 4 entirely and use a gel moisturiser. The glow from step 1 is usually enough.

If you have under ten minutes, start with the cherry-cola lip or the soft-focus flush — both rely on one strong step and forgive messy application. If you have a bit more time and want to practise a skill, latte makeup builds blending confidence that carries over into every other look. Graphic liner is the one to try on a weekend first; on a rushed weekday, a wobbly line costs more time to fix than to skip.
Lighting matters more than most tutorials admit. Do your base and blush facing a window where possible, then check the result in the light you'll actually spend the day in. Fluorescent office light flattens warm tones, so latte makeup may need a touch more bronzer than looks right at home.
